Blender 2.8 + - Quick tips and shortcuts

Default blender 2.8+ shortcuts settings and by default we are in Edit  mode

This post will grow over time as I will be adding more tips/shortcuts if I find them useful 

Shift + G - Select similar vertices, edges, faces

Set rotation to 0 - select faces, ctrl+s, s z 0 (apply to every axis, depends in which direction you want to reset rotation)

Selecting all faces that follows topology - 3 (for face mode), ctrl + shift + left click

Ctrl + 1 - subdivision modifier (Object mode)
